Teriya’s act on the number ‘Rondhe Hai Mujhko Tera Pyar’ was a scary reflection act where the two danced in sync like mirror images of each other. The act was gripping and gave the audience chills! The Masters loved the act and they went on to receive a grand salute from Mithun da who said, “Only on DID something as magical as this can be seen, where there is no mirror but you still get a perfect mirror image.”Ashish and Shalini successfully depicted the relationship of a special child and his sibling on the song ‘Mera Jahaan’, where Ashish played the older mentally challenged boy who is looked after by his younger sister. They managed to touch the hearts of the audience with the portrayal of their roles interspersed with fine dancing and went on to win a grand salute too. Tanay and Sahil’s act on the song ‘Bezubaan’ displayed the modern relationship of an old father and his busy son. Sahil played the role of the doting father, who gets ignored and ill-treated by his grown-up son. The heart wrenching performance moved Mithun da who after the act shared how his mom who is 83 and dad, all of 80 years, stay with him. He added,” After watching this act, I feel I have done something right in life”. Grand Master Mithun Da and the Masters were spellbound with the level of maturity that was exhibited on stage by the Li’l Masters, who did not just match steps with the current DID 5 contestants but complemented them beautifully in executing such emotional acts. Yet another act that made the audience emotional and teary eyed was Anuradha and Saumya’s perfromance on the song ‘Luka chuppi’. DID 5 contestant Anuradha lost her parents at a very young age and since then has been a mother figure to her younger sister. The act was a dedication to her sister and portrayed how she hides her pain and agony of losing her parents to comfort her sister and be her pillar of strength. This intense act had the young li’l master Saumya so involved in the character that she ended up embracing Anuradha and crying inconsolably. Mithun Da went on to say how even a grand salute is not enough for such a touching, soulful performance. -
